Introduction to School of International Education of Shanghai University of Sport
School of International Education of Shanghai University of Sport (its predecessor is International Cultural Exchange Center, which was founded in January, 2006 and renamed in October, 2009) is a specialized institution which is responsible for educational management of international students in China. School has three divisions, which are the school office, the international student office and the teaching Chinese as a foreign language office. Now school has 1 Dean, 1 Vice Dean and 16 permanent staffs. School of International Cultural Exchange not only focuses on Chinese language teaching, but also is responsible for the enrollment of 14 majors for undergraduate degree, 11 majors for master, 4 majors for doctoral degree and some other long/short-term sport training programs toward international students. School of International Cultural Exchange has well-equipped International Student Apartment. Shanghai University of Sport gained the qualification to receive international students in 2006 and was elected as standing director member of International Student’s Educational Research Association of Shanghai Universities and International Student’s Educational Management Branch of Chinese Academy for Higher Education in 2007and 2009.

The International Students Office (ISO) of Shanghai University of Sport (SUS)is mainly responsible for the admissions, visa/residence permit, andscholarship affairs of international students. It also coordinates in suchissues as academics, living, extra-curricula activity, cultural exchange,security, career planning, and alumni networking, etc. The ISO staffs are verypleased to have the international students from all over the world here in SUSand ready to provide quality service.
