Notice about the International Students Services and Administration Work
Dear international students，
In view of the ongoing evolving situation of COVID-19, to safeguard campus safety，the health and well-being of SUS teachers and students, here is a notice about the current service and administration work of international students.
1、 Once again, we declare: all the SUS students (including bachelors, graduates, international students,etc.) shall not return to school before a formal returning notification is published, and all the training work will be halted according to the stipulation of The Notice about Covid-19 Prevention and Control Work by SUS, posted on Feb. 5, 2020. The exact returning date will be notified once it is decided.
ANYONE who returns or arrives to school or Shanghai without approval from SUS will be punished in accordance with the regulations on disciplinary punishment for SUS students; scholarship students in this case would be punished in accordance with the epidemic prevention provisions of China Scholarship Council.
The issues of students’ visa, flight ticket booking, etc. shall be seriously taken into account, so the University will publish the returning notice timely and leave enough time for international students to prepare returning school.
2、 International students who are now in China should strictly abide by the epidemic prevention provisions made by the Country, local governments and SUS. Those who live off-campus should strictly comply with local community epidemic prevention provisions as well and to enhance personal hygiene. Anyone who breaks the epidemic prevention provisions of local community shall be investigated for legal responsibility according to Chinese law and be punished in accordance with the regulations on disciplinary punishment for SUS students. scholarship students would be punished in accordance with the epidemic prevention provisions of China Scholarship Council.
3、According to policies of China Scholarship Council and Shanghai Municipal Education Committee, the scholarship stipends of those who are now abroad from China will be halted until students are informed to return.
4、Before returning to school, students are required to keep a consistent attendance by attending every online class on schedule. If you have special difficulties to attend the live online class, you must ask for approval from your teachers beforehand and watch the replays and submit assignments on time. Your e-learning attendance is highly important and affects the results in your Annual Scholarship Evaluation.
